Scandic Bollnas

We always stay here on the way up to our ski cabin in northern Sweden. The restaurant is OK, with nice service. The location absolutely perfect by the sea, in a very slow and calm city. The breakfast is great, and so is the general impression.

No the best experience in total, but I guess there is not too much choice around town. Staff seemed to be busy and there was not too much friendliness. Elevators were broken and there was no warm water in the evening or morning so could not get a shower. Apparently it was a wider problem but there should have been a notice somewhere! Good thing I skipped the excercise. Whole building is starting to look a little outdated. No refund or compensation was offered either for all the incovenience.

I had the great pleasure of staying at the Scandic Bollnäs hotel for one night during the weekend in August this summer on a business trip to the fine city of Bollnäs in the beautiful state of Hälsingland. Would consider this to be the best choice in regard to location, standard, comfort, price and total satisfaction/value for money. It is the largest and recently refurbished and best hotel in town. 
The location is central and downtown, although on the outskirts of the city centre, and it's a good 10-15 min walk from the train/bus station. There is a residential block with apar**ent buildings on one side of the property and the lake is on the other. Nice green fields on the grounds with a small pier near by the lake, perfect for bathing/swimming/sunbathing, as well as a nice long walking path that goes all round the lake. The only disappoin**ents were that there was no A/C and it therefore got very hot in the room. No Chromecast, unable to connect to my own brought from home Chromecast device b/c of WiFi config/firewall. Also, some standard Nordic TV-channels with "no signal". An over-crowded breakfast buffet resulted in it running out of several breakfast food items.

Very good hospitality and service from the hotel. Very nice breakfast buffet not to mutch and not to little of all. Nice beds and good help with services from reception desk. And we got a gift when we left hotel very nice

Beautiful view over a park and a river from the room. Quiet and nice surroundings. From the restaurant you can go to and sit in the glazed veranda. I looked in to the gym ( but didnt use it), it looked clean and well equipped. Just a short walk from the hotel to downtown Bollnäs. Plenty of parking space.

Super great stay over Chris**as. Requested that beds be pushed together as a king bed with view towards the water, and it was all taken care of. View was breathtaking. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Outside is dated, but inside it's all quite cozy. Great location. We walked along the water towards a snowy peninsula every morning. Reception was very helpful. Had to borrow a USB adapter for our phones (no USB in room) as well as an ice scraper for our car. No hassles. Totally recommend.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and for sure we will come back again. Nice staff, clean room and everything perfect with extra service for our dog. The only minus was that the breakfast around 8:45 was almost empty, so have to wait around 10 minutes for refill. But it was super tasty so at the end I was happy enough

Best Scandic from Sweden!!! În 60 days wich I was guest on this hotel, everything was nice, I don't have anything bad to say about that. I don't have to say anything bad for this hotel. If I come back in Bollnas , 100% I will choose Scandic Bollnas.

A lovely stay in Bollnäs in a cozy room overlooking the wate. The breakfast buffet has more than one can ask for and provides a great start of the. I highly recommend anyone a stay here wethe the reason being business or private.
